I am NOT in favour of some aspects of Bill 66. The Green Belt is an area that has to be protected at all costs. NO development should take place on the Green Belt, and it should even be expanded. As well, any changes to our water protection should be to enhance , not to detract. Many people remember the Walkerton water disaster, which happened under a provincial Conservative government. I would think that Conservatives, of all parties, would be cognizant of that tragedy amd would not want to tamper and relax rules. Regardless of the lobbying of developers and big business. Protecting the environment protects our citizens...and it is actually good for business. I live in the Waterloo Region and the politicians here are very concerned wih Bill 66.
