Very Supportive of this initiative. Reliable power in the Red Lake area particularly has been problematic to support existing industrial projects, new projects and the far north transmission lines to numerous First Nations communities.
There is simply not enough power on the existing 115KV transmission line to support the area.
This is welcome news to everyone living in this "North of Dryden" corridor and access to a reliable energy grid is an essential element in keeping Ontario businesses and its residents successful and competitive.
The project design reflects proper environmental and sustainability considerations.
