I am very concerned about Schedule 10 of Bill 66. Removing red tape for the purposes of development should never ever override environmental concerns. The existing environmental laws were put in place with much consultation and thought. Without these existing protections for clean water, air and land, we are jeopardizing the health of our province and our ability to sustain ourselves. We need to preserve farmland to feed ourselves and green space for quality of life. Also taking away public consultation and the ability for public recourse is not democratic. Please remove Schedule 10 - development at the cost of our health and welfare cannot happen.
