Ontario's Greenbelt needs to…

Ontario's Greenbelt needs to continue to be protected. It cannot be compromised. Residential and industrial growth is already reducing Ontario's natural land and habitats. There needs to be greater protection for Canada's land, not less. Continuing to protect the Greenbelt from development and toxic pollutants is the minimum the government can do. The Greenbelt is important for the economy, ecosystems and human health. I demand, as an Ontario citizen that depends on the protection of the Greenbelt for my drinking water and greater well-being, that the government does not make such proposed amendments as to allow municipalities to be exempt from current environmental protection rules. This bill would seriously eliminate necessary progress in Ontario. Thank you.
