The only adjustment that should be made to Ontario's Endangered Species Act is strengthening the enforcement of it. Development permits are a necessary feature of species and habit protection! The review process is the only thing standing in the way of irreparable species loss. Please, do a cost-benefit analysis of this policy, and properly weigh the costs of biodiversity loss. This government needs to stop choosing between 'environment' and 'economy' and realize that the two are interconnected. A healthy economy CANNOT survive without a healthy environment.
