The applicant is adding new property that contains a new discovery (TVZ ) and other new zones with a resource . The maps provided do not show the required claim boundary in section 5 The previous closure plan had a LOM to 2010 and have since extracted 6 years and now propose to extract another 7 years with one type of ore with a larger bulk tonnage zone (TVZ) not included in closure plan amendment The project should be reviewed as new lands with a resource under section 144(2) of the mining act. The additions of significant lands containing a new discovery should ne the subject of a public review and not be buried as a minor amendment to an existing proponent for mining rights abutting another proponent closure plan for surface rights . The Mining Act was created to allow the province who own the rights to be kept informed and consulted on significant changes to allow for the planning of support infrastructure and protect the provincial interests . I have written to Goldcorp on numerous occasions in the last 30 days requesting clarification and the lack of disclosure is not acceptable .
