If we do not protect endangered species from industries such as the logging industry from what are we protecting them? There is not much time left to protect the caribou and its habitat, the boreal forest. It is now a known fact that the caribou can't survive without vast expanses of forest, and chipping at their habitat is sentencing them to extinction. And it's not just the caribou that will be the victims. It's about time that we took the long view to prevent the gradual movement toward the reduction of diversity on our planet.
