It is plainly evident to me, to a ridiculous and outrageous degree actually, that the the current bill 108 proposed by the current Conservative provincial government will be a disaster for Toronto.
It will reduce the ability of the city to make additions to infrastructure and community facilities to make the city as livable as possible when development takes place, favouring developers at the expense of all residents of the city.
A return to the OMB style procedures, way too short deadlines and combining the development charges so as to force various necessary community amenities to be chosen between is just a start on why.
I request that you stand up to this fiasco to the maximum extent possible in order to have it stopped.
