I am not a hunter but do spend a lot of recreational time on trails and in the bush. I cannot think of one possible reason why the government would ever consider allowing bear baiting to be anything less than 200 metres from a road or trail. If it is to help out these so called slob hunters, that is only putting the public in danger. No one should be out hunting unless they have the skills and knowledge to hunt safely. Why would the government ever consider this change? Let's think hard before we even propose these ridiculous changes.
