I support extending the water taking moratorium, in fact I think it should be extended for a longer time as proper consideration of Ontario's water resources should include extensive mapping of the aquifers, and of their capacities. With increasing population, increasing pollution of surface water sources and the threat of climate change, it's questionable whether we can afford to have more bottled water for sale. The cost of whatever permits are allowed should be increased to pay a substantial part of the cost of mapping the aquifers.
