I am strongly suggesting a much more available pre notification re pesticide spraying..
1. LIke the other some half million(diagnosed) MCS/EI patients in Ontario I encounter a severe health gamble if I (possibly) notice a pesticide warning sign in the roadside ditch where I walk daily many years. Most newspapers are printed with toxic ink . not a popular medium of communication either.
2. Ive encountered other folks, Mothers-of young children etc.,with similar fears who would appreciate clear and timely prior notice well before spraying begins. Suggest emails, even phone calls. My local Twp.government has had my medical letter on file several years with the “life threatening” aspect of pesticides clearly written. Postpone spraying until all local
vulnerable parties are informed. Our spraying here was the first since 1993,
no more life threatening surprises please.
