Why isn't there a programme/plan to save ALL of Ontario's boreal caribou? The federal government expects Ontario to have this plan completed by now. Suddenly, with good reason, the L. Superior Coastal caribou desperately require 'a plan' while concerned Ontarians know deeply that ALL our caribou require a sincere and meaningful plan.
My suggestion is to withdraw the 2 year extension given to forestry and mining that allows them to ignore what is left of our species at risk legislation and give caribou adequate environmental protection and a large enough area to live and reproduce. Ontario's ministries already know what is required for the coastal caribou - this registry question is simply obfuscation.
