RE: 019-0907 the supporting documents offered online were out of date reflecting changes from a decade ago and not the current amendments. That said, the emailed summary of Nov 18, 2019 inviting comments, suggests the proposal is a for a short term 3 year extension of leases so that the ministry may consult on an alternative option for long term occupation of cottage lots.

What is needed is a clear, timely decision that allows for long term planning by all people using and managing movements inside the park. I encourage there to be focused energy, attention and commitment to swiftly resolve the details around lease extension for at least the next 20 years.

I understand that the Ministry seeks the right balance to serve all the communities which migrate to Rondeau on a seasonal and annual basis--whether human, animal, or plant. What I wish for is to be able to erase the enmity that uncertainty and polarization have created. I want turn our energies to constructive, positive interactions that support the needs of all the indigenous and visiting populations to the park.

It's hard to be invested in building or even maintaining properties and relationships when the future is uncertain.

Let's put the delays behind us and put our energies into crafting a future in which all entities touched by the park may collaborate and flourish.
