Absolutely not. The fact that hunting is even allowed is disgusting but to allow hunting in spring when mothers are raising thier cubs is idiotic and inhumane. Time and time again humans and thier attempt to "control" animal populations has proven ineffective and generally leads to a collapse in the controlled species numbers or explosion of another species. Leave the wildlife alone, its the human population, our destruction of their habitat and destruction of the ecosystem that should be what you are controlling.
