I strongly oppose full return of spring bear hunt in Ontario and encourage others to do the same. The list of reasons is long and widely debated. I suggest that there is not evidence to support an overpopulation in spite of not having the spring bear hunt for a number of years and the negative impact far outweighs any benefits. In a global movement that realizes how fragile our environments are I suggest we look forward and protect what we take for granted will always be there.
