I do not support the spring bear hunt or the timing of it because there is no protection for female bears with cubs. There is a lot of misinformation about the danger of bears but what's really dangerous is the hunter. They use cruel practices to bait bears and there is no way for them to know if the bear is a female or a mother with cubs.
