Even from the summary, I have major concerns. The entire "putting more wood to work" section is a huge red flag, and I don't trust the language of "modernizing...approval processes and reducing duplications", it sounds an awful lot like the "finding efficiencies" that's been gutting our social and environmental programs over the past year.
We now know more than ever the value, both economically and intangibly, of reducing our impact on the environment. Forest growth is one of the world's largest carbon sinks, so this is not a good time to increase the rate of deforestation; forests are critical habitat for many species, and more species than ever are at risk due to climate change and habitat loss, so this isn't a good time to further disrupt habitat; healthy forests absorb a lot of water, and flooding is a major problem right now, so it's not a good time to cut them down.
A living forest is vastly more valuable to us in the long term than whatever short term economic gain we can get by exploiting them and undermining the ecosystem in the process. Please don't do this.
