I have concerns that opening a spring bear hunt will result in more orphan bear cubs. Female bears with cubs need to be protected. My understanding is that there is already a bear hunting season in the fall, why is it necessary to have two hunting seasons? It doesn’t seem logical. Thank you for your time.
