The spring beat hunt is entirely unnecessary and dangerous. Not only are many hunters hasty and reckless, easily killing a mother with cubs, but there are other times in the year that hunters can go out. The tourism industries in the areas where hunting occurs need to adapt their strategies to attract customers outside of hunting... it’s possible. They need to stop looking at the lowest hanging fruit, because ultimately that lowest hanging fruit is what is causing more harm than good.
