As a Director of the Thunder Bay Field Naturalists (TBFN) I am responding to the invitation to participate for the park management planning process. Our Board is interested in being apprised of the planning process and any development options which are proposed. In that Wabakimi was expanded in the 90's largely in part to ensure the maintenance of sustainable caribou popoulations and related habitat, any park planning options must recognize this principle and maintain to the largest extent possible a wilderness or related designation.
