We have been advised of the proposed Waste Disposal Site @ 633 Coronation Dr. in Scarborough and are opposed to the idea of putting any waste disposal in our area & think it a very bad idea.
Never mind the odour that will permeate our air, especially on a hot summer's day, but what of the pollutants that could be in the air lingering over the several schools we have in the area.
What about the safety of our children, doesn't that count for anything?
We have already been evacuated from our homes at least once in the past because of some problem from one of the industries on Coronation Dr. and don't relish the potential for another.
Trucking in food, plant, human or any other waste for disposal into anything that will emit toxic gases into the air is not good and we oppose the idea of such a plant in this neighbourhood.
