The proposed site is located…

The proposed site is located in a thin strip of industrial site next to a residential district and school zone with two primary schools, William G Miller Public School and St Malachy Cathlic School, both of which are a mere few hundred meters from the proposed site.

I am very concerned about:
1) The potential leak of toxic and malodorous gases, during normal operating conditions and as well as facility maintenance. An existence of flare seems to indicate gases will be emitted regularly. Emission of gases must be controlled within legal limits, however what are the legal limits?
Are they safe for residents to be exposed to the gases 24/7?
Are gases safe for hundreds of school children?
How bad would be the noxious smell of gases?
2) The increase in large-sized truck traffic to and from the plant which would generate noise 24 hours, 365 days a year through a residential district. Such trucks would also likely leak or drop toxic material and odors.

I believe that the proposed operation should be built in a rural area: not by a residential district and school zone.
I would like to request a meeting where details of proposed operation to concerned citizens would be explained.
