Whilst I am generally in favour of the idea of biogas facilities, this is not the location to build one. The amount of truck traffic contemplated is beyond what is reasonable to expect residents to contend with. More time is needed to understand what is being proposed and the deadline should be extended. COVID-19 has dominated the news and this application has not been given any meaningful scrutiny in the media. I only heard about it because I read an article in the local weekly newspaper. There needs to be time for adequate public input into this matter. According to the newspaper article (Scarborough Mirror, 05/13/20, author Mike Adler) the reason no extended comment period has been provided is because, according to a quote attributed to Lindsay Davidson of the MOE "we have not been asked by members of the public" to do that. Please consider this comment as such a request. Thank you.
