Please do not allow the waste disposal site on Coronation Drive in Scarborough. There is already a water treatment plant and other businesses giving off toxic emissions.

This is an urban neighborhood with three elementary schools (K to 8) in the neighborhood Children are crossing Beechgrove or Manse (the two arteries trucks will travel) to get to and from school.

In addition, on Coronation Drive there is a pool for swimming lessons specializing in young swimmers, a gymnastics and cheer club as well as karate- there are lots of children and busy families in the area all day, well into the evenings and on the weekends.

Adding to the truck traffic as well as noxious and toxics emissions is a disaster waiting to happen.

As well, the ravines in the area are part of the Rouge / Highland Creek park system. The increased traffic and toxic emissions will not only put the kids at risk but the wildlife.
