Please DO NOT destroy yet…

Please DO NOT destroy yet more green space in Ontario to accommodate "growing the economy". What many politicians lack is a true understanding of sustainable development - the people who propose "economical growth" via "the paving of green space" have no concept of long term consequences. And I mean LONG TERM - your children's children's children. In order to "attract business investment and better align with infrastructure", we need to PROTECT GREEN SPACE - there will be NO economy without natural resources and wilderness protection! The REAL economy IS nature. If we don't protect what little green space we have left RIGHT NOW, it won't be long until we have nothing to protect at all - including the HEALTH of humans. We need green space to be healthy. And if you don't care about animals, natural habitat, green space, or have any true respect for nature, then understand this: If we don't protect what little green space we have left RIGHT NOW, it won't be long until we have NOTHING to protect at all - including your money and the things YOU care about. Please protect our green space. We will have nothing left if you don't. And I will be ashamed to call myself an Ontarian. Clearing out green space in favour of "economical growth" will in fact drive intelligent, hard working people OUT of Ontario - the ones who care about protecting our natural resources and our ecosystems. THESE are the people you want in Ontario. Not the "Big Oil Texans". Think about it. Thank you.
