I am writing you about the proposed waste/biogas facility at 633 Coronation Drive in Scarborough, Ontario.  
 
I do not support this project because it alarms me to think of the potential grim and possibly deadly consequences to people and wildlife in this area if this project proceeds.
 
I have learned that this area has the highest toxic emissions in all of Toronto according to the 2018 City of Toronto report, ChemTRAC.  This project will worsen the already poor air quality in this area notwithstanding the area's abundant green spaces, natural areas, and proximity to Lake Ontario.  Such poor air quality, which an increase in heavy traffic potentially 24/7 to and from this facility, would be detrimental to our health, and that is unforgivable.
 
I ask that Ontario Premier Doug Ford and the Honourable Jeff Yurek, Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, please reject the proposed waste/biogas facility at 633 Coronation Drive in Scarborough, Ontario.
