RE: ONTARIO EXPANDING RECYCLING PROGRAM-CURBSIDE PICKUP
We are a campground near Arden Ontario and would very much like to be included in the curbside pick up program.
During the summer months-May to October- our population can range from 100 to 500. In addition there are 12 privately owned cottages that share Woodland Park Drive with us during those months. I think this population would be equivalent to many apartment buildings included in your proposal.
Our deisnated waste management facility is a 45 minute drive. During the busy camping season we cannot afford the time and personnel to sort and deliver waste so it all goes into the dumpater which we pay for pick up weekly in the off-season months when the park is closed, we take our personal waste to the facility for recycling.
I hope you will give serious consideration to including campgrounds in the program as you have with other multi-family dwellings/facilities.
