This will drive away…

This will drive away canadian producers. It's a nice idea to possibly force producers to make more environmentally friendly packaging. But this won't solve anything. It will drive up producing costs, which means either the producers will just leave cause a lose of jobs, or the government will give substities to producers which the tax payer pays for anyways and the producer doesn't end up taking nay actual responsibility. Or costs of items will go up and the people pay the price anyways. Over all this is a lame idea that will just cost the people more one way or another. It's a wolf in sheep's clothing idea. Looks and sounds and even feels nice. But makes the problem worse not better in the end.
