Dear Premier and Conservative MPPs,
Many other people and organizations have submitted reasons not to do this. We actually care about protecting nature as well as creating jobs and feel that without the blinders you appear to have that both can be accomplished with some critical thinking and planning. Of course different people will be affected but developers aren't the only ones to be considered.
I know that you have never shown any indication that you are willing to change your minds on this issue so voting you out is the only option but in the meantime you are going to continue to do irreparable damage to our environment.
My only hope is that enough pressure can be brought to bear on the banks, pension plans and financial institutions that will fund these developments and companies that need to approve insurance on them to refuse to do so. Divestment seems to be a reasonable option and should include these projects and if necessary the companies that support them. Legal action is justified as well.
There is very little time left to protect what nature we have left and to protect our watersheds.
