If you want to grow the green belt how about you put a stop to forced growth? York region by way of the Ontario government is forcing the town of East Gwillimbury to triple in size by 2030 destroying millions of acres of farm land and natural green space. And for what? 4000ft² homes on postage stamp lots. Let's start by making better use of the land that's already developed instead of plowing everything under for parking lots, big box stores and single family homes.
