I have watched several u-tube videos from the USA where wild pigs are routinely baited and hunted at night with rifles outfitted with thermal scopes with great success ( some of these herds number close to 100 )The spread of these animals in the USA has been out of control for years causing millions in damage.
These animals are extremely smart and wary and know how to avoid humans as they lie low during the day and become very active at night. Due to the fact they breed like rats the Ontario Govt. Needs to act now before their population explodes and then you will Never be able to control their spread.
Only MNR monitored specially trained experienced licenced hunters should be allowed to participate in this hunt for public safety reasons and waiting too long to nip this in the bud now will have detrimental consequences on our crops and natural resources. FYI
