For heaven”s sake! Cutting down trees to burn in order to generate electricity is beyond the pale!
To my mind, it’s like killing animals for their pelts in order to satisfy our insatiable greed and hubris.
The onus is actually on us to cut down on our rapacious appetites and to learn to live in harmony with creation.
