Cap and Trade should not be…

Cap and Trade should not be cancelled. If anything, more programs should be put in place and hold our industries accountable for their impact on the environment. It is only within the last 6 months which I've actually begun to see the public taking advantage of some of the subsidized programs offered through the green.on program.

I believe if the program is allowed to continue, the public would become more informed as to their own impact on the environment and actually try and improve their own local carbon imprint.

The sudden cancelation of the program just illustrates the short-sighted view our current government has on the environment. It takes a long time to set up programs like this, and to shut it down over night with little regard of the wheels in motion shows the careless nature of the people in power.

We need more environmental programs in place. Cap and Trade should continue.
