I am opposed to the Pause. I am very concerned about this regulation as we have a neighbour who has dumped hundreds and hundreds of truck loads of fill from 401 highway repairs and I am concerned that there are toxins from road rubber that could leach into the environment. I am also now concerned that with this kind of pause, this type of dumping could continue without proper recourse/monitoring. I have waited long enough. It’s ridiculous to pause a regulation already in effect. Not to mention that pausing would be a slap in the face to businesses that did comply.
