I am opposed to the pause…

I am opposed to the pause. It is ridiculous to pause a regulation that is already in effect. It would lead to more dumping of contaminated soil. Businesses have had several years to get ready. It is not fair to these businesses that have already complied. It is very important to cut down on illegal dumping for the health of soil, land, streams, wells, air quality. It would be very, very, irresponsible for the Ontario government to allow/encourage pollution in this form. Registering and tracking loads is an important part to cut down on illegal dumping.
