I am strongly opposed to removing parts of the Greenbelt. The short-term benefit of accommodating the growing population will be negated by the increasing impacts of climate change, which in turn affects our mental and physical health.

I haven't heard Doug Ford say this was a one-time occurrence. This will become a trend as developers will see an opportunity to continue pressuring the government to open the Green belt.
