Removing environmental regulations to effectively eliminate the greenbelt is an ill-conceived idea. There are plenty of ways to increase urban density, such as rezoning the existing sprawling "yellowbelt" to allow for higher density housing. http://www.mapto.ca/maps/2017/3/4/the-yellow-belt

The greenbelt exists for a reason - to allow for better drainage and water management, lower house taxes, lower insurance rates, and as a safe buffer for water overflow. Look at what happened to Houston, who similarly paved over their wetlands.

Stop this amendment. The greenbelt needs to be left intact.
