As a young adult living in the GTA, I am deeply concerned that this will not help to the housing crisis in Ontario for my generation. Instead, we are sacrificing precious protected land in the Greenbelt. We require denser communities , better public transportation and affordable rents/housing. Building a few more houses on precious land is merely kicking the can down the road before our children and children’s children face the same problem. It’s selfish and short-sighted.
