Developing the Green Belt will be irreversible and devastating to the province. It will destroy flood plains, farmland, and increase the burden on the GTA that already suffers from too many people.
Destroying the farmland will have irreversible effects on our food independence, which COVID has shown to be extremely important as supply chains slow and foreign conflicts affect our food supply.
I'm strongly opposed to this initiative.
