Page 10 of MMAH's Report of the Ontario Housing Affordability Task Force states:
"But a shortage of land isn’t the cause of the problem. Land is available, both inside the existing built-up areas and on undeveloped land outside greenbelts."
Perhaps the government should read the report their own task force developed. It lays out very good plans for developing more homes, and more AFFORDABLE homes (key word here, as the province has a housing AFFORDABILITY crisis, not a housing availability crisis), in this province that do not involve developing on protected land.
I have included a link to the report, in case the government forgot about it.
