Building in floodplains and environmentally sensitive regions is a terrible idea. We have no need for more suburbias, build up within the cities we have and adjacent. Single family homes that will require more infrastructure from the city will incur unnecessary costs, rather than building up multi level multi unit complexes in currently dense areas. Why are we building on some of the only farming land left with no plans to increase greenhouse facilities to supplement food production for increasing population? Listen to your people not your developers.
