The proposed changes to development charges and parkland dedication will reduce the public benefits that we need and deserve, especially in the context of increasing population size. We know how essential green spaces are for our health and wellbeing, yet you propose to reduce parkland requirements for new developments. I would like to see parkland dedication increased, but at the very least, I hope you will remove your proposals to reduce this important aspect of new development.
