I am very concerned about…

I am very concerned about the use of the Greenbelt for housing. While I realize housing prices are out of this world right now, and there is proposed increased immigration, I do not feel that this is the way to go. I am shocked at the amount of house building that is happening around my town in Halton right now, and the amount of farmland that is disappearing. I also know of additional farmland that has been designated for new housing and to imagine that farmland taken away, stresses me immensely. The Ford government ran for office saying the greenbelt would never be touched. Now, in addition to this proposal, we are also dealing with the Bradford highway that will run through the greenbelt. When will it end??

We should be ADDING to the Greenbelt, not taking from it.

Please reconsider this. For all future generations.

Keep your government’s promise never to remove land from the Greenbelt or allow anyone to build on it.
