This is a horrific and potentially devastating proposal especially considering this government has not shown good faith in protecting our natural environment. This is not a real solution, this is a gross misuse of power which is reflective of the current government. The fact that indigenous leaders/elders are not being represented or consulted is also disgusting. This proposal proves that Ontario is only interested in continuing the horrors of its colonial past. I do not support this proposal and find it’s timing truly concerning as it has not been given meaningful consideration.
