You should simply utilise the many empty office buildings in Toronto that already exist and turn them into high-density and low-income housing, which is what is needed, instead of removing a vital part of Ontario's ecosystems that will be even more important in coming years, for mansions for the rich that are only going to end up drowned out anyway by the soil erosion that happens when you remove native trees and plants.
This proposal is irresponsible on so many levels, and attempting to push this through while making sure the province is focused on other way our government is failing us, such as the collapsing healthcare system, is a monument to the lack of foresight of our government and the cruel way with which they treat the people of this province who aren't Doug Ford's rich friends.
