I am opposed to any sort of urban development in the Greenbelt, this land is crucial to the role of being a rainwater catchment which feeds our rivers, lakes, aquifers and streams. Without them, we have no drinking water, for anyone, not just humans but all living life. That's only one role of many that it plays in our everyday life. The understanding of our environment is how we survive and thrive.
If we don't preserve our green spaces, we'll be in the same situation as many other places in the world, with drought seasons and heatwaves.
