This is not responsible growth. Eradicating areas of protected green belt is not a needed solution or strategy and will cause irreversible damage to local watersheds and biodiversity. Building upwards, and seeking out inefficiencies/underused areas within existing boundaries/municipalities is a safer, more sustainable option - it may not line the pockets of the premier’s buddies in development, hence the lack of focus on these logical options, but redrawing the green belt boundaries cannot happen.
