I oppose this bill, as it opens the door to irresponsible or corrupt procedures for selling land and buildings to developers for projects that will be detrimental to the community. To increase access to housing, the government should be investing in public housing, not stripping away protections from culturally significant locations only to turn them into profits for developers.
