I think it is a disgusting abuse of power to allow developers to benefit by a quid pro quo with the government of Ontario to open the greenbelt to developers.
This land, once developed, is gone forever.
We need this land to grow the food to feed our citizens and to mitigate against climate change.
Voters are furious about the fact that Doug Ford LIED about protecting the Greenbelt and that he is opening soliciting bribes from developers to give them all the money they wish for.
Please, please, PLEASE, someone needs to:
a) Stop this development
b) Hold the government officials and developers to account legally for their blatant corruption.
Ontario used to be better than this.
