Removing land from the Greenbelt is a terrible idea and should only be a last resort option. There are plenty of opportunities to build better within current city limits, and we should be changing the rules and red tape which prevent the development of dense city living. Instead of taking more farm land and wildlife habitats, we should be forcing local governments and nimbys to remove Any legislation that is preventing the development within our cities.
We should be building walkable communities that are proven to be less expensive and harmful than irresponsible urban sprawl.
The expansion Into the Greenbelt is lazy, short sighted and in my opinion, corruption, at its finest.
Thank you.
